North Cape May - How are nursing homes allowed to let residents get up to weights of 300 pounds, becoming restrained to a bed, and having to use a mechanical lift to move them? The patient has the right not to be put in one, but if a CNA refuses to use their own bodies to get them up they are threatened by management to have their license taken away for not doing their job. So when the CNA hurts their back, workers' compensation refuses to pay for coverage and the facility will say there is no light duty available. Makes absolutely no sense. I'm sorry, $10.50 and union dues out of my check is not worth it. Call your assemblyman.
