North Cape May - Freeholder Thornton put the welfare of his employee before himself or his political career. It would have been much easier for him to have swept this issue under the rug or left it behind closed doors. Freeholder Thornton did what he was supposed to do, protect the employees of the county, whether in his department or other freeholders' departments.
