North Cape May - Does technology empower the people, or is it a gigantic marketing ploy that enriches the business interest? Call me a dinosaur or caveman, but my assessment of technology is that it has dumbified and enslaved the masses on their costly toys that add very little to their bodies or minds. Smart phones, smart watches? I don't think so! I do think that human contact, personal manners and just being a person has suffered. Who would ever believe that we talk with our thumbs. The meaning of friendship has been distorted via Facebook. Is the ability to critically think missing in this world?
