North Cape May - Both people need to work nowadays in a marriage for things to work and grow. That's it. This is not the 1950s anymore. Being a homemaker is no longer an option if all you and your spouse do is fight about money or you have a spending habit. Also being a homemaker shouldn't automatically qualify you for general assistance from the state. If you're able to work you should be working even if it's part-time. Stop relying on state benefits.
