I collect antique firearms, I own the type of firearm that is in question, I've been a collector and shooter for over 50 years and shoot in Cowboy matches across the Country. That gun cannot malfunction with the hammer in the forward position, just like you can't hit a baseball without swinging a BAT at it, It just can't happen.
