While shopping at a local shop, I came upon a sign that stated "Life is a beach." Sadly, I said to myself this saying doesn't apply to the problems that were created by buying the beach along North Cape May with the vote of the present mayor. I wish the press would ask the mayor why he purchased these beaches when local people were using them without the cost incurred by the taxpayer. As a full-time resident, two blocks from the bay, I wondered then, and now, why this purchase? Government should resolve problems, rather than create another new year of havoc.
