The traffic light at Rt 109 and Tranquility Drive has had an issue since the 2023 W Cape May Christmas parade. The settings were changed to accommodate the traffic and ever since then you have to wait several minutes for the light to change if sitting on Tranquility Drive. For years the light would change as soon as your car approached the light/the line. Now you have to pull your car past the line to try and trigger the light.
