Surprisingly. many churches do not have a service on Christmas morning. True, the Christmas Eve services are festive and delightful. Also true is the fact that a service on Christmas morning may not be well attended. However, some have family gatherings on Christmas Eve. Others do not like to drive or go out at night. Others still simply like to go to church on December 25, the day Jesus’ birth is celebrated. ... It’s easy enough to find a church other than my own that has a service on Christmas Day, so I have no valid reason to complain. It’s just that I wish my church offered one.
