To the spouter from Stone Harbor that had their A/C condensers stolen: First, I am sorry that it happened to you. Here is something that I did to deter a thief from taking my unit. I bolted the A/C unit to the pad it rests on. I installed a lock on the electric service disconnect at the unit. A simple padlock will do the trick. I put a good winter cover on the unit. These three simple tricks will slow down the process of stealing the unit. The thief will look for an easier mark. Sorry to say, this kind of thing happens everywhere. We good people need to keep our guards up.
