Response to technology lens. If you think for a minute anything we do online is not tracked and stored somewhere by our own governemnt you are sadly mistaken. The reason the U.S. Government is so adamant about banning Tik Tok, is because it is truly the only online platform that they do not have control of and the ability to manipulate the content. You don't really think the powers to be want us to have true free speech. Heck, even this platform sensors us and removes or edit comments as they see fit.
