Please stop bashing public employees. My father was a correction officer. He worked on Christmas, birthdays and holidays. People say he got overtime pay, but believe me, it was not much, and not what we wanted. He was assaulted, spit on and had things thrown on him just for being there. If you had a family member in public service, you would understand.
