The people who want dogs banned from the bay in North Cape May, I'm sure, are the same ones who drink alcoholic beverages on the beach, which is prohibited, and the ones who ride their bikes in the middle of Bay Drive. How about those ignorant people who, after a few beers, swear in front of children and leave their trash behind. Lower is one of the few who welcomes dogs; they even advertise. People rent/buy homes on the bayfront for that reason. Look around, how many outdoor restaurants and stores are animal-friendly? I never saw a drunk dog swear or ride a bike blocking traffic.
