I am a triathlete who participated in the Escape the Cape triathlon and wanted to thank all (organizers, public officials, volunteers, spectators, etc.) who were involved in making this race one of the best organized races on the East Coast. I was also very impressed with the police assisting and escorting local residents who were trapped on the race course to an area road that was not closed. This truly enhanced safety for the cyclists on the wet roads. Bravo to all!
