I wear a hat with an American flag on it, and while grocery shopping a person asked me, "are you one of them". I knew what he meant, and I politely replied, "I wear it for my son, who is now deployed overseas in the Air Force". He politely said, "thank him for his service". We need to be kinder to each other and not focus on these politicians on both sides of the aisle. We are Americans, all of us!
