It is nesting season now for skunks. I had them living under my shed and a very lovely girl from Shore Animal Control came out to educate me about their habits during nesting season. I was very grateful for her help as I did not want to see them harmed. She spent over 45 minutes going over everything I needed to do without harming them. My dog has not been sprayed again since!
