I sympathize with the folks who have neighbors with rundown houses and junk cars in the yard. However, I really question the desire to have the town or township remedy the problem. All that ugly stuff is on private property. I hate to say it, but I do believe that people have a right to do what they want with their own property as long as it is not a public safety or health risk. The fact that so many people have no sense of pride or self respect is a shame.
