I note that some spouters use this forum to express gratitude to others for things such as the return of a wallet, assistance with a disabled vehicle, and support for a charitable event. This type of post is a good deed that recognizes another good deed, and a nice balance to the complaints that normally appear in Spout Off. What I cannot figure out is why a post that is only expressing gratitude would attract a significant number of "thumbs down" online. I would not expect any thumbs down to a spout that is simply saying thanks.
