I heard that Lower Township is taking back over animal control in Jan. Why are they doing this when Shore is doing a fine job, plus saving us taxpayers money? I hope they don't bring back the former officers; they were useless. Shore are professionals. Why not leave it in their hands? All the township officers did was ride around all day. If there is such a change in the making, sure hope Lower goes with an educated and experienced company.
Moderator's Note: According to Lower Township Manager Michael Voll, there are no plans to change the current animal control.
