I am on the side of the rest of world with healthcare. I have traveled extensively in most of the countries in the western world who have universal health care, and I have relatives and friends in Canada who went with universal health care in the early 1980s. I can say that the system they have is superior in both care and by far with cost. Medical in America is controlled by greed. Professional birth control is practiced to keep supply of physicians limited, and the use of big money to keep the status quo of high cost is well known.
