I have lived in North Cape May for over 25 years and I can't believe that the township purchased the beach area that was unbuildable for the huge amount of money. What were the town fathers thinking at the time? There have been nothing but problems on our beach at Lincoln/Sandman Blvd. These problems were unheard of before the purchase. People got along, and the beach goers were locals. The township beach area is costing the taxpayers thousands. What is the history behind this ill-advised purchase? Who benefited? It wasn't the taxpayers or Chamber of Commerce.
