Naples - Since seasonal residents only rely on most of a municipalities' services for a few months of a year, perhaps the tax laws should be rewritten lowering taxes for non-year-round residents. They do not consume services for two-thirds of the year, and are subsidizing year-round residents. If they can’t have a vote, don’t take their money. They should only pay one-third of current rates. Then they truly get what they pay for and municipalities would be forced to spend wisely. Or, give them a vote in how the money is spent.
