Middle Township - Upper Township is a parasitic township. It’s easy to keep your taxes low when you don’t have to pay for a police force, like every other township, and had a power plant pay most of the property taxes. Now that the power plant is closing, the township should no longer get $6 million a year just because it hosted the plant. Let’s save the rest of the state taxpayers some money.
Moderator's Note:
Maybe they don't feel they need a police force because they don't have enough crime to warrant one.
