Middle Township - Unable to gain control of a majority on Township Committee by failing to defeat Mayor Michael Clark and Deputy Mayor Jeff DeVico at the polls, Tim Donohue and the Cape May County Republicans are attemping a scheme to gain control of City Hall by changing the form of government and spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to do so. A Charter Study Commission, two additional Township Committee salaries, additional support staff and other expenses just to play politics. Middle currently has one of the lowest average property tax bills in the entire State of NJ. Why fix something if it isn't broken?
