Middle Township - To the spouter upset about the Tech school allowing students to wear hats. It can be viewed as disrespectful and culturally inappropriate. The real reason for the school “hat ban” was in fact based on school security! Hat’s make it harder to identify a person, which can decrease the safety of the school environment! Hats also make it harder on teachers who can not easily see a student’s face to engage the student and to see if they are paying attention. I guess anything goes at the Tech school regardless of safety.
