Regarding the article in the Herald about the Reserve for Accumu

Middle Township - Regarding the article in the Herald about the Reserve for Accumulated Absences fund for county employees,the article states that the actual amount of accumulated absences outstanding is $7.5 million as compared to the trust fund balance of $1.1 million.  This $6.4 million shortfall needs to be addressed by the county. Good luck getting an answer of where the short fall is. My guess is that the employees didn’t use their time durning covid since most sat home and got paid and didn’t have to use their time and now they all have this accumulated time showing on the books.
