Middle Township - For the past several months we have been observing the Court House and Rio Grande rescue squads. Court House units are a disgrace falling about buckets of rust. The emergency lights don't even work properly and can be seen only half a block away. Employees washing personal vehicles instead of emergency vehicles or sitting around smoking or at a park eating. Rio Grande seems to be in good shape but looks like a tow truck coming down the street with yellow lights. Time for an outside chief or career fire department to take over.
