Middle Township - Parents, refusing the PARCC test is a civil duty, not civil disobedience. Parents must ignore attempts to bully them into taking the state tests. PARCC and other high-stakes standardized tests have an enormous financial cost and no purpose except to line the pockets of politicians and Pearson. Do not believe the 95 percent no funding argument. That is a bully way to coerce parents to agree their children be used as guinea pigs. Please, inform yourself with the truth. If parents do not advocate for their children, then who will?
