Middle Township Public School District set one of three communit

Middle Township - Middle Township Public School District set one of three community strategic planning meetings Nov. 20, and a second in December in the midst of holiday preparations, when residents are involved with family celebrations. Fewer than 50% of students meet or exceed expectations in English, with little more than a third hitting the target in math. Fourteen percent are chronic absentees. English, math and attendance scores are about 10% below state averages. Community support is desperately needed for our kids. Good sense would schedule such important meetings more thoughtfully.
