Middle Township - The Middle Township Planning and Zoning Boards have the authority to prevent more homes from being built on the Laguna Oaks Golf Course. The municipality does not have to buy the land if the landowner isn't allowed to build more homes on it. Preventing more homes from being built on that golf course and saving open space is more important than the financial interests of the landowner. Merely owning land doesn't give one an automatic right to build whatever they want on it.
