Middle Township - Local politicians need to give it a rest about extending Rt. 55. It's not going to happen, nor should it! All it would do is relocate traffic congestion to the Parkway instead of Rt. 47. If people are worried about traffic, how about reducing tourism? Why should millions of tax dollars be spent and the environment destroyed just to help tourists get here a little faster for barely a three-month tourism season? Based on what I see, tourists have no problem getting to Cape May County each summer. Rt. 55 is fine as it is now.
