I would like to know why the Rio Grande Fire Company had two out

Middle Township - I would like to know why the Rio Grande Fire Company had two out of town fire companies cover their fire district while they attended a funeral? The one company was all the way from Audubon. These companies are not familiar with the area. Why wasn't Court House, Green Creek or Goshen standing by for them? These companies all know the area. Maybe if someone made the right call, the family in Whitesboro might not have lost everything they owned when their house caught fire Jan. 10.
