Middle Township - How come when a civilian gets a DUI it's in the paper and they have to go to court and face a jury of their peers, but when a law enforcement officer gets into an accident, and with the smell of alcohol present by an EMT, is never charged with a DUI, but instead allowed to go home and have it never make the paper? This type of covering up needs to be stopped. We live in a society where if you soil a decorated officer's name you then become a target just by doing your job. We are all human, but being fearful to report seems to be happening a lot. Cops need to lead by example, too.
