Middle Township - The gas tax does need to be increased but only if all tolls are eliminated throughout the state. Eliminate the highway authorities that run the Parkway, Expressway, and the NJ Turnpike and let those highways be managed by NJDOT instead. Tolls are an obnoxious inconvenience and drivers often get accused of not paying tolls that they actually did pay. The existence of tolls is indefensible.
