Middle Township - A former mayor keeps claiming Rio Grande and the south end of our municipality has been ignored and underrepresented on Middle Township Committee. Let me remind him the late Bob Huff was mayor of Middle Township and lived in Rio Grande. Committeeman Bob Engle was from Rio Grande. Deputy Mayor Jeff DeVico was born and raised in Rio Grande. Pat Peterson was a committee person from Rio Grande and Committeeman Joe Walsh was from Del Haven. Furthermore, a new park, free concerts, a police substation and numerous other improvements have taken place there.
