Middle Township - Christie made a statement about law enforcement that is not totally true. He said in the debate that he would be a president who will support the police across this country. The untrue part is people do support the police in general across this country. What the country won't tolerate is police misconduct. I was raised to respect law enforcement, the problem is that was a different era and a different kind of cop. The real life police officer is someone who maintains the same attitude that started them in this field throughout their career, not 'I am above the law' syndrome and untouchable.
