Middle Township - Cape May County needs a permanent ban in new home construction to prevent future property tax increases that development always brings and to ensure that our remaining open spaces aren't lost to more overdevelopment. This county is not made better by the construction of new homes. Planning and zoning boards need to learn how to say no to development to preserve what's left of our quality of life. Development should have been frozen two decades ago.
