Is the wear and tear on these police vehicles on the construction sites paid for by the construction companies? I know the police time is figured into the projects bid. These cars are constantly running the entire time. When they need repairs, who foots the bill? Who is paying for the fuel while these officers are using taxpayer police vehicles to make extra money? The hardest wear on these vehicles is when they are at an idle all day with the AC running. I know when these cars need repairs, the construction company is not paying, the taxpayers are. Who authorizes these taxpaying expenses?
