There have been a lot of pro-tourism spouts lately, but tourism simply isn't worth it. Tourism ruins the quality of life here. It brings noise, crime, traffic, pollution and the destruction of natural areas. It fueled the over-development of the county. All of this for temporary, low-paying jobs while a few get rich off of cheap labor. All of those employed by tourism would be better off leaving the area and pursuing a better paying line of work.
