To supporters of the "veteran" Middle Township teacher: You are being told a fabricated story about protecting another student. The district has the HIB policy on its website. Once an allegation was made, a thorough investigation was required, many students were interviewed, and this is the outcome. Teachers are trained to recognize and prevent harassment and bullying in the schools. They certainly should know not to participate in these behaviors themselves. Many are not surprised by this situation, just wondering why it was allowed to continue for so many years.
