Middle Township should sell the land they bought off Indian Trail with our tax dollars without any voter approval to the Green Acres program, the Nature Conservancy, or even the county “open spaces” program. Saving that land from development will do more to prevent tax increases than developing it, which will only result in tax increases. Whatever money the township “makes” off the sale of that land to a developer will be countered by the inevitable tax increases developing that land will bring. Middle Township is overdeveloped enough as it is without even more housing developments.
