Middle Township / Sarasota - Middle Township, which is one of the worst run townships in the state, will be giving out pay raises, and the reason is they need competent people. That would be nice but the raises will not provide competent people, only tax the taxpayers more. Here is a thought: Pay for raises by finding waste to cut out. I'm glad I moved out and settled in Florida where I have a larger house and realized a $7,300 increase in available spending money as a result of significant lower taxes and other benefits.
