This past year I had the pleasure of working on the new Sea Isle City municipal building. I also had the opportunity to work in the rec. center in Lower Township. Both of these government agencies used union contractors to do these government jobs. My point is that government agencies are supposed to use union contractors when doing new or renovated buildings. When Middle Township did all the work on the township building, no union contractors were notified to bid on this project. Why do other municipalities go by the book and, once again, Middle shuns its face at policy?
