Over-development ruined the county. The county isn't a big deal for tourists either. If I were a tourist, why would I come here? All businesses overprice everything they sell. Tourists get harassed about beach tags. Beaches should be free. You have to run the gauntlet of tolls to get here or cross bridges, then pay parking meters before going to stores and restaurants that rip them off. Delaware and Maryland are much more tourist-friendly and tourists get more value for their dollar.
