Our local politicians have to stop wasting time and energy on trying get Rt 55 extended. It's not going to happen and it shouldn't. It is not needed for evacuations. That's a bogus argument. It would be a waste of tax dollars to extend it just so shoobies can get here a little quicker for a few weeks out of the year. It would also just encourage more people to move here which is the last thing we need.
