Middle Twp. and Middle Twp. Police have been combating the many issues in Rio Grande for years, however, due to budget restraints they had to cut the crime unit. Many people still say that Middle has too many police officers, or love to complain about policing in the twp. Yes, the death that occurred is tragic. Now, hopefully complainers will realize that there is a bigger problem. It is not just prisoners coming to Middle, other towns also send trouble makers here so they don't have to deal with them.
