Living in this county we hear a lot of our fishing vessels being struck by much bigger cargo ship hundreds of feet long. Why? Do the much smaller ship use strobe lights as a way to be seen, seems it would help a lot to make other vessels aware of there location, they need to also have drills, and training, hours and hours, recorded if that situation arises, just like firemen training, constantly, would that not make sense for saving a fisherman’s crew their lives? In life we get to complacent and distracted from very serious consequences that should be made more focused on saving lives,
