I thank the Herald and Mr. Conti for coverage of the boondoggle of our electric bills. Although the article points out where each of the political parties point the finger, one aspect should garner bi-partisan efforts- law should require the bills be transparent and make sense. Mr. Conti demonstrated that the bills are clear as mud and one would assume this is purposeful. SJ Gas is no better, perhaps even worse. The utility companies and apparently the BPU don’t want us to understand how and where we’re getting ripped off.
