Driving by the "former" Stone Harbor Golf Club is sad now. It really isn't a golf course anymore. It's just another Ryan Homes development for the wealthy. That golf course was once a beautiful property. Wildlife used it too. It was a nice piece of open space connecting the park to the Lizard Tail Swamp Preserve. Now the property is just another ugly housing development. It will put even more demand on groundwater supply, generate even more trash, and drive our taxes up even further.
