The county spent 6 million of our tax dollars to cut down 11 acres of trees at the park without the approval of residents. Imagine how many acres of trees could have been preserved with $6 million dollars. The county couldn’t care less about trees or the environment. The county just sees the park as only the zoo. The park (zoo) exists only to create jobs for the GOP friends of the members of county government. The county has zero interest in land conservation.
