The County got $650,000 back from the feds for Covid and they are giving it out in raises, stipends, merit, and Cost of living raises to employees who sat home durning the pandemic and “worked” from home (insert a lol here) instead of possibly reducing taxes a bit. It’s a free for all no checks and balances of their open checkbook books. By the way those increases in your taxes were mostly county and library taxes not municipal taxes.
